This essential oil works to increase blood flow and help prevent the build-up of uric acid in your joints. It has anti-inflammatory properties which help reduce swelling as well as anti-spasmodic properties for those aching muscles that might have a tendency to cramp.

Birch essential oil can be used by itself in massage lotions or oils but is best when paired with one or two other beneficial essential oils such as chamomile, eucalyptus, lemon, lavender or cedarwood.
